For months, www.MoveTheRNC.com has predicted that 2008 should not be the blood bath for the Republicans that most pundits have assumed it would be. In fact, we have been clear that this SHOULD be a fabulous year for the GOP based on energy, although we did...and still do...have reservations about the party being smart enough to capitalize on the energy issue to the fullest.
As the Zogby polls indicate, perhaps the price of gas is so high that the American people will figure out which party is chiefly responsible for this in spite of scared me-too Republican candidates and consultants.
