The table is set for President Bush to charge home to the finish line of this presidency, and the Republicans in congress deserve the credit. (Did I just say that?).
This site is very critical of the Republican power brokers in the nation's capital and that has included the feckless leadership in the House and Senate over most of the last decade....but we have to give credit where credit is due. And credit is due to Mark Pence (Indiana 6th) and some 100 other GOP lawmakers on the hill. The Republican brand is in trouble, but correct reaction to the high gas prices and the Democrats ridiculous stance on this issue should totally correct this.
