Here are some talking point definitions for your review. They should help you keep from screwing up on the stump. We can discard these for the general election.
REPUBLICAN: that's the party we are currently in.
DEMOCRATS: that's the OTHER party...Please remember this! (we'll pass this along to Schwarzeneggar's office also).
TAX CUT: radical idea supported by Ronald Reagan, JFK, and it used to be supported by Jack Kemp. (That was til he ran with Bob Dole and fell in man love with Gore in 1996.) This idea works because it grows the economy and does increase government revenues.
THE ECONOMY: this is where real jobs exist (see below).
WATER BOARDING: (change the subject to your POW camp thing).
RUSH LIMBAUGH: talk show host with more listeners than you have voters.
FOX NEWS: cable news channel preferred by "Republican base".
REPUBLICAN BASE: large group of folks who are generally needed to win elections. They tend to be known as "conservative." These people generally believe in water boarding.
CONSERVATIVE: strange belief system based on weird notion that it's the genius of the American people when set free by government that makes this country great. It is also consistent with document known as constitution (see below).
REAL JOBS: not really sure what they are, but the Republican base generally has one or more of these. We hear Mitt talking about these from time to time also. We'll check into it.
CONSTITUTION: bothersome little scribbling that is conservative and which you destroyed with McCain Feingold bill. (Change the subject to that POW camp thing).
STRAIGHT TALK: yeah right...our little secret!
